Terms of Service

You must be at least 18 years old to create a CampMatch account. By using our Service, you confirm that you are 18 or older and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Providing accurate and current information when registering
• Notifying us immediately if you suspect unauthorized account access

You may not create more than one account per person, or create an account on behalf of someone else without their permission.

CampMatch is a two-sided marketplace. Different rules apply depending on your role:

CampMatch is a discovery and reservation platform. We are not a party to any agreement between parents and camp organizers, and are not responsible for the quality, safety, or conduct of any camp program listed on our platform.

When you reserve a camp spot through CampMatch, you are expressing your intent to attend. A reservation through CampMatch does not constitute a guaranteed enrollment unless confirmed directly by the camp organizer.

Cancellation policies are set by individual camp organizers. CampMatch does not process refunds on behalf of camps. For cancellations or changes, contact the camp directly using the contact information provided in the listing.

Camp organizers may cancel or modify programs. CampMatch will make reasonable efforts to notify affected parents but is not liable for program changes made by organizers.

At this time, CampMatch does not process payments between parents and camp organizers. All camp fees are paid directly to the camp at the time of attendance or as directed by the organizer.

CampMatch reserves the right to introduce paid features, commissions, or listing fees in the future. We will provide at least 30 days notice before any new fees take effect, and continued use of the Service after that notice constitutes acceptance of the new fee structure.

Camp organizers are responsible for all taxes, fees, and compliance related to their programs. CampMatch is not responsible for any financial transactions between parents and organizers.

Camp Organizers are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and completeness of their listings, including camp descriptions, dates, pricing, age ranges, and availability. By submitting a listing, you represent that:

• All information is accurate and up to date
• You have the authority to list the camp program
• Your camp complies with all applicable state and local laws and licensing requirements
• You will promptly update listings if information changes

Parent Reviews must be honest and based on actual attendance. Reviews may not contain defamatory, false, or misleading content. CampMatch reserves the right to remove reviews that violate these standards.

By submitting any content (listings, reviews, photos) to CampMatch, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and use that content within the Service.

CampMatch reserves the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or that we determine, in our sole discretion, is harmful, inaccurate, or inappropriate.

You agree not to use CampMatch to:

• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent camp listings
• Collect or harvest personal information of other users without consent
• Send spam, unsolicited messages, or commercial communications
• Impersonate any person, camp, or organization
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
• Scrape, crawl, or extract data from CampMatch without written permission

Violations of these terms may result in immediate account suspension or termination.

CampMatch is a discovery and reservation platform only. We do not operate, manage, supervise, or endorse any camp listed on our platform. We make no representations about the quality, safety, licensing, or suitability of any camp program.

It is your responsibility as a parent or guardian to independently verify that any camp you select is appropriate for your child, properly licensed, and meets your standards for safety and quality.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CampMatch and its owners, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:

• Your use of or inability to use the Service
• Any conduct or content of camp organizers or other users
• Any camp program you register for or attend through the platform
• Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
• Any injuries, incidents, or damages occurring at a camp

In no event shall CampMatch's total liability to you exceed the amount you paid to CampMatch in the 12 months preceding the claim (which, during our free period, is $0).

You may delete your account at any time through the app settings. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or if your use of the Service poses a risk to other users, camp organizers, or CampMatch.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. Sections 7, 8, and 10 of these Terms will survive termination.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of CampMatch shall be resolved through binding arbitration in New Jersey, except that either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
